Festive London & The Wind in the Willows, again.

On Friday, The Boy and I spent a lovely day in London. We took a stroll around Covent Garden, past the giant Rudolf and the oversized baubles and the big tree. Size does matter when it comes to Christmas decorations, I guess. Even though it’s crowded, it’s so nice to visit this time of the year, it’s great to put one right into the Christmas spirit.

We spent a few hours walking around, finishing up our shopping for gifts. Then we treated ourselves to a lovely burger for dinner before it was time to rush to the theatre for what is becoming our annual trip to see The Wind in the Willows. I mentioned last year how much I loved this magical play, and I was thrilled to see it again. It was even better than I remembered and it left me with a huge smile on my face for the rest of the evening. How nice it was to watch the adventures of Mole, Ratty, Toad and Badger!

It was a great day!
