October – A Picture Diary

This is a new feature on A bookworm’s life: the highlights and adventures of the past month in pictures I shared on my Instagram. I hope you’ll like it!bookworm_october1

A visit to a dreamy orchard for apple picking. Coming up with a delicious way to use some of those apples, involving salted caramel sauce. Exploring medieval Oxford colleges and their secret gardens. Getting cosy at home during a storm, with flurries of leaves coming down to my steps. Early mornings being rewarded with the sweetest pink sunrises.

A visit to the arboretum (for the first time since last summer) for the acer trees’ stunning display of autumnal colours. Dreaming of living in a grand Oxford mansion. Morning cycle rides in the golden light of autumn. Long walks in the countryside with crunchy leaves underfoot. Oh how I love October!
