Weekend reading

This year we’ve had such a lovely summer, but now it seems like autumn is here; the days are still sunny but the air is fresh, crisp. It’s nice to get to see the seasons change and, even though I’ll miss the warm days of summer I’m focusing on all the things I love about autumn. So I’m beginning to think about the beautiful morning light, apple picking, warm jumpers and jumping in piles of fallen leaves. What do you love most about autumn?

Here are some interesting things from the past week:

A pastor asks a politician why he supports gay marriage. His reply is awesome.

This skyscraper in London can melt your car.

Someone made a tumblr about Women Laughing Alone with Salad.

I’ve always wondered about the button at pedestrian crossings: Does pressing it actually do anything?

The Bloggess on blogging and social media.

Defined Lines, a parody video of the infamous Blurred Lines, was banned for a while on Youtube for inappropriate content. Gotta love the irony.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Thanks for the link about the building in London. I was told about it yesterday but didn’t see any photos. Crazy situation! I’m crossing my fingers that prior forecasts of nice weather later on in autumn is true.
